Bio
Son of James Brittain & Helen Barbara (Kozisek) Timms. He grew up on a farm in the David City area where he attended public school. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from July 12, 1952 until March 24, 1954. Joe embraced hard work. He worked as a painter for many years. Riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle was his passion. He was the oldest living member of the American Veterans Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
