ADOLPH VACEK Weimar Mercury , May 19, 1977 Rites Held for Adolph Vacek Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 18, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Schulenburg for Adolph Vacek, 70, of Schulenburg, formerly of Weimar. Rev. Roger Robbins officiated. Burial was in the Schulenburg City Cemetery. Mr. Vacek died at his home Monday morning. Born June 14, 1906, at Holman, he was a son of Staches and Frances (Balcar) Vacek. He married Hilda Schieler at Schulenburg on Nov. 22, 1927. They had lived in Schulenburg the past 25 years. Mr. Vacek's wife survives him, along with two daughters, Mrs. Royce (Lois) Brauner of Schulenburg and Mrs. Elliott (Janell) Kahlden of Texas City; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
