William G. "Jimmy" McCollom was born January 11th, 1928 in rural Collin County, TX and passed away July 3rd, 2012 in Plano, TX. Graduated from Plano High School, retired on staff as a second-line supervisor from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. He was never happier than when he was traveling with his wife in their RV. Preceded in death by his parents, Hobert and Marguerite; brothers, Wayne, Ray and Bobby, and sister Louise. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Bertha Pebba; sons, Barry and Mark with his wife Tracy Wallace; and grandchildren, Galen and Ava; sisters, Janelle Nowell, Donna Wallis, Cecelia Boone; brother, Charles Rex; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Saturday, July 7th, 2012 from 2:30 - 3:30 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Saturday July 7th, 2012 at 3:30 PM at Restland Memorial Chapel.
