Mr. Bobby Kenneth McCollom, age 76, of Fairview, Texas passed away December 9, 2007, in McKinney, Texas. He was born June 27, 1931, in Addison, Texas to Hobert Wayne and Margurite Elsa (Biggs) McCollom. On November 21, 1951, he married Betty Jo Nance in Plano, Texas. Mr. McCollom served in the Army National Guard. He retired from Texas Instruments after many years of service. He was an avid fisherman and of the Methodist faith. Mr. McCollom is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty McCollom; son, Kenny McCollom and his wife, Monette of McKinney; daughter, Debi McCollom of Dallas, Texas; grandsons, Cody McCollom (serving in Iraq) and wife, Ellese of Princeton, Texas and Jesse McCollom of McKinney; great granddaughter, Haylee McCollom; brothers, Ray McCollom of Mineola, Texas, Jimmy McCollom of Plano and Rex McCollom of Richardson, Texas; sisters, Donna Wallis of Fairview, Louise Peebles of Plano, Janell Nowell of Ft. Worth, Texas and Sissy Boone of Colleyville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wayne McCollom in 2006. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2007, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. Mark Forrest officiating. Interment will follow at Frankford Cemetery in Addison, Texas.
