July 4, 2012 - Herald-Banner GREENVILLE — Frances Claudette "Cluck" Caldwell, 55, of Cumby passed away July 3, 2012 in Dallas. Frances was born on Aug. 9, 1956 in Pampa to Billy and Frances Charlene Strickland. She married Russell Caldwell on July 1, 1979. Frances retired as secretary from the Cumby High School She is survived by her father; husband Russell Cladwell; son Rickey Vaughan and wife Tammy; daughter Kendra Hood and husband John; grandchildren Chase Vaughan, Erin Vaughan and Slade Hood; sister Charlotte Calhoun; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and sister B. Hazelwood. Service will be 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Duncan Graham and Rev. Howard Strickland officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Chase Vaughan, Billy Bratton, Bo Bratton, Casey Hazelwood, Johnny Petty and Kenneth Bearden. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Pettit, Steven Smith, Dale Crumpton and Jimmy Evans. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Cumby, followed by a gathering for friends and family at the Billboard House in Cumby.
