Bio
Daughter of Albert & Agnes (Slechta) Jisa. She attended school at Dwight Assumption Catholic School. She married John J. Kobza on September 27, 1949 at Dwight Assumption Catholic Church. They farmed near Loma, Ne., ran the Hilltop Cafe in Brainard, Ne. then later moved to Schuyler, Ne., where they owned & operated the Town Pump tavern. In 1964 they moved to Columbus where Dolores worked for Becton Dickenson for 28 years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church , St. Isidore Christian Mothers and the Becton Dickenson Alumni. Dolores loved canning, baking & cooking for family & friends. She also was a avid polka lover. She is survived by: Husband: John J Kobza ofColumbus, NE Daughter: Diane (Todd) Schwank of Columbus, NE Son: Dean (Mary) Kobza of Columbus, NE Son: Dwayne (Friend Jill) Kobza of Denver, CO Step-Sister: Janet Bolton of Bellwood, NE Step-Brother: Jim Jisa of Columbus, NE Four Grandchildren Six Great Grandchildren Step-Mother: Geraldine Jisa of Shelby, NE She was preceded by: Parents: Albert & Agnes Jisa
