Bio
Daughter of Matthew & Hedwig (Tryba) Jarecki. She was one of 13 children. She attended parochial school at Duncan, NE and then pursued higher education at Omaha, Nebraska. Barbara was then employed as a clothing buyer and specialized in children's clothing for J.C. Penny and J.L. Brandeis in Omaha. Following her retirement she resided in Columbus and later moved to Holdrege to be near her sister Germaine. While in Holdrege, Barbara resided at Christian Homes due to her failing health. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Columbus and through the years enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. She is survived by: Sister Germaine Cummins of Holdrege, NE Brother Anthony P.
