Bio

MITCHELL - Robert Gordon, 76, Mitchell, died Monday, June 6, 2005, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. Survivors include his wife, Marie; four sons, Jeff, Terry and Tracy, all of Sioux Falls, and Brad, Spearfish; one daughter, Ann Gordon, Mitchell; one brother, Frank Gordon, Spearfish; one sister, Patricia Tordson, Oakland, Calif.; and 12 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. CDT, with a 7 p.m. scriptural service, today at Bittner Funeral Chapel in Mitchell. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Burial will be at American Legion Cemetery in Mitchell. Published by Rapid City Journal on Jun. 7, 2005.
