James Meadow Knight was the son of James and Jennie M Night . They were found on the 1900 US Federal Census, Pct 1, Grayson county, Texas. The following family members were listed as well. Emma Night 23 Cicero Night 20 Maud Night 16 Sam Night 18 Myrtle Night 13 (daughter in law) Willie Night 12 Lizzie Night 10 Johnie Night 8 Medow Night 5 [James Meadow Kngiht *Their last name was spelled "Night" on this census but they spelled it "Knight" on following census and records There was another son, Ira Knight, who was not shown on this census He registered for the World War I draft on June 5, 1917 in Grayson County. He also registered for the World War II in Electra, Texas on May 20, 1942. At that time he was working for the Magnolia Petroleum Company there. James married Kathryn Love in August 1918. Their license was obtained 20 August 1918 in Grayson County, Texas. They were the parents for two children: James Edward and Phyllis L Knight.
