Thursday, February 5, 1970 Mrs. Fannie Mae Long Foster Mrs. Fannie Mae Long Foster, 71, of Crockett, died Monday morning in a local hospital. Mrs Long (s/b Foster) was a lifelong resident of Houston County. She was a member of the Methodist Church and Augusta Eastern Star. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the First Methodist Church, with Rev. L. B. Broach and Rev. Jim Rhodes officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Memorial Park, Crockett. Survivors include the husband, Lee H. Foster of Crockett; four brothers, Nelson O. and J. D. Long, both of Crockett, Gus Long of Greenville and Durwood Long of Henderson; three sisters, Mrs. Lou Nelle Holcomb of Crockett, Mrs. Lenora McCarley of Kilgore and Mrs. Lila Westmoreland of Huntsville; also several nieces and nephews. Waller Funeral Home in charge.
