Frank George Pomykal, 75, of Brenham, died atTrinity Medical Center in Brenham. Frank was born Sept. 26,1927 in Wesley, Texas to Joe and Valasta Mikeska Pomykal. He was educated in Wesley schools, Brenham High School and Blinn College. On Nov. 1, 1952, he married Annie Bednar in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Pomykal was an independent oil producer. Survivors include his wife, Annie Pomykal of Brenham; son, Brice Pomykal of Brenham and his fiancée, Kalisa Fischer; daughter, Aneya Elbert of Brenham; grandchildren, Joey Brice Pomykal, Katy Shae Pomykal, Sarah Elbert and Allison Elbert; brothers and sisters-in-law, Verde and Janet Pomykal of Brenham and Roger and Eleanor Pomykal of Fredericksburg; and sister, Jeannette Kelley of Golden, Colo. He was preceded in death by his parents. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4 in St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Brenham with the Rev. Cecilia Smith officiating. Burial will be in National Cemetery in Nelsonville. His nephews will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be given to St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Brenham. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham. Brenham Banner Press. December 3, 2002
