Bio
Wife Of Art Brown (1913-2004). Mother of Doug, Dennis and Debbie. Daughter of Hazel LeMaster (1894-1985). Bernieta was an interesting character. She was always placed in front of the big picture window of her house to see what was going on in the neighborhood. She was the neighborhood gossip. Bernieta was so sweet. She was always in poor health when I knew her. She had gray frizzy hair, and always wore a baby-dollnight gown. She had asthma but still had to smoke. She would take a puff of a cigarette, and the a puff of her breathing machine, she would always have her poodle one her lap. She had a poodle and art had a basset hound. Bernieta's health got worse as the years grew, and she died at age 73 in 1991. Art followed 13 years later on September 1, 2004.
