Funeral service for Riley G. "Buddy" Moody, age 78, of Rowlett, will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be at 11: 00 am, one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Smyrna Cemetery. Dan Jensen will conduct the service. Mr. Moody died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Kindred White Rock Hospital in Dallas. He was 78 years old. He was born on September 30,1933 in Kernes, to Chester M. and Anna Sue Lewis Moody Sr. Mr. Moody married Anna Kirby, November 18, 1951, in Hope, Arkansas. They were married 60 years. Buddy was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Anna Kirby Moody, of Rockwall; son, Michael G. Moody of Rowlett; and daughters, Theresa Ann Joesting (Steve) of Rowlett; Kara Lynn Stevens (Randall) of Royce City. Grandchildren: Carrie Ann Holtzclaw, Sean Michael Moody, David Levi Stevens, and Daniel Martin Stevens. Great-Grandchildren: Addison, Lauren, Cody, Alexis, Hallelujah, and Selah. Preceded in death by: Parents; 2 Sisters: Frances N. Hill and Norma Rayburn; and 1 Brother: Chester M. Moody, Jr.
