Bio

Mary A. Amos, 89, of Fort Collins, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2001, at Sunbridge Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 16, 1912, in Rescue, Neb., to Newton and Mary (Stejskal) Fleming. She was raised in Nebraska and South Dakota. She married Peter W. Struck on Jan. 16, 1928, in Winner, S.D. To this union 10 children were born. They later divorced. He passed away in 1970. She married Espy Amos in 1960. He passed away in 1985. Survivors include two sons; five daughters; one sister; one brother; 33 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both husbands, two sons James and Denny, one daughter, Martha, one granddaughter, one grandson, and three brothers.
