Bio

John Wesley Pierce was born in Mobile County, Nov. 2, 1867 and passed away at his home in Rosinton community, Feb. 15, 1945 at the age of 78 years three months and 13 days. He spent most of his life as a farmer in this community. Funeral services and interment were held at the Pittman Cemetery, Saturday, February 17. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Niccie Pierce, seven children, Mrs. Albert Kendrick, Mrs. Geo. Hitchcock, Mrs. Milley Thames, Mrs. Mary Brill, Mrs. Norma Dawson, all of Robertsdale, Wesley Pierce, U. S. Army Air Corps in Burma; Mrs. Ray Anderson, Cicero, Ill.; twelve grand children, other relatives and a host of friends to mourn his passing.
