Bio

"The Sabbath Recorder", Vol 202, No 7, p 27, July, 1980. Carl A. Walkup, 76, son of Alpheus and May Moore Walkup, was born at Valparaiso, Nebr., February 15, 1904 and died at the Valley County Hospital, Ord, Nebr., March 7, 1980. On February 15, 1927, he was married to Elma Van Horn. Carl was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church of North Loup. He is survived by his wife, Elma; two sons: Loren, Carolina Beach, N.C., and Gordon Dean, Simi, Calif.; two daughters: Helen Potomic, Clifton, N.J., and Vicki Rowbal, North Loup; two sisters: Mrs. Ora Manchester, Ord, Nebr., and Mrs. Jessie Simpson, Paonia, Colo. Funeral services were conducted by his pastor, Rev. Victor W. Skaggs. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery, North Loup. V. W. S.
