WESTON-The funeral for Helen J.Maly, 89, of Weston was at St. John's Catholic Church in Weston. Mrs. Maly died January 17, 1992, at Saunders County Community Hospital in Wahoo. She was a homemaker. Helen Maly was born October 7, 1902, in Weston. She was a member of the American Legion Post No. 308 of Weston and St. John's Catholic Church. She married Edward Maly November 18, 1924, in Plasi. He died in 1974. Survivors include a son, Lumir of Weston; a daughter, Patricia (Frank) Bennett of Lincoln; a sister, Emma Samek of Weston; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Thomas Vlcan of Weston. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Burial in the church cemetery. Svoboda Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
