TOGETHER FOREVER On stone with Joseph O'Dell ROCKWALL JOURNAL-SUCCESS FEBRUARU 9, 1990 FRIDAY PAGE 2 VERNA O'DELL Verna O'Dell, 84, Rockwall, died Friday, Feb. 2, in Lake Points Medical Center in Rowlett. She was born Feb. 10, 1905 in McLendon, in Rockwall County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe O'Dell on December 19, 1989. Verna was the daughter of John M. Huse and Rosa Williamson Huse. She was a member of the Rockwall Historical Foundation, First Baptist Church in Rockwall, and a 57-year member of Eastern Star Chapter #858. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Hazel Wade of Garland; step-son, Paul O'Dell of Dallas; step-daughter, Helen Mays of Plano; brother, Hester Huse of Houston; 9 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, George, Jimmy, Johnny, and Sam Huse. Services were conducted Saturday, Feb. 3, at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Rockwall. Rev. M.L. Jones and Rev. Steve Swofford officiated. Interment was in Rockwall Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Lyons Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Johnnie, Bill and James Huse, Gary Bray, Ralph Dudley, and Robert Harrison.
