TOGETHER FOREVER On stone with Verna ROCKWALL COUNTY JOURNAL-SUCCESS OCTOBER 22, 1989 FRIDAY JOSEPH O'DELL Joseph Paul O'Dell, 86, Rockwall, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, in Rockwall Nursing Care Center. He was born Dec. 21, 1902 in Rockwall County. He was the son of John H. O'Dell and Eula Jane Camp O'Dell. He was retired from the Katy Railroad and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rockwall. He was married to the former Verna Huse. He is survived by is wife, Verna O'Dell of Rockwall; son, Paul O'Dell of Dallas; step-son, Bobby F. Wade of Garland; daughter, Marion O'Dell of Garland; sisters, Maureen Huse of Garland and Annie Webb of Forney, nine grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. Services were held Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Rockwall, Rev. M.L. Jones and Rev. Steve Swafford officiated. Interment was in Rockwall Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Lyons Funeral Home.
