Bio

The Wellington Leader September 9, 1993 Jennie Scott Dyer, 59, of Perryton, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 1993. She was born June 17, 1934 in Dodson and lived in Wellington. She graduated from Wellington High School in 1951 and attended Texas Tech. She married Jack Dyer in 1953 in Wellington and lived four years in McLean before moving to Perryton. She was secretary to the Perryton ISD superintendent for 17 years before retiring last year. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Dyer was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Duard E. Scott and the granddaughter of the late Millard and Nellie Scott, who were among the earliest settlers in the area near Dodson. Survivors are: her husband, Jack, of Perryton; one son, Don Dyer, of Perryton; one daughter, Kallie George, of Pampa; one brother, Don Scott, of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Sue Terry, of Kermit and four grandchildren.
