Bio

The Wellington Leader July 2, 1992 Mrs. Lottie (Peggy) Scott, age 79, died Thursday, June 25 in Perryton. She was born Dec. 31, 1912 in Falls County, Tx. Her parents were Callie Mar4crum and Janett Bankston Marcrum. She and Duard E. Scott were married Nov. 11, 1933 in Kaufman County, and made their first home in Dodson. They relocated in Wellington in 1947. She had been living in Perryton since Aug. 1980, after the death of her husband, Duard. Mrs. Scott was a homemaker, an artist, and a member of First Christian Church. Her surviving relatives include one son, Don Scott of Norcrass,Ga; two daughters, Jennie Dyer of Perryton and Sue Terry of Kermit: three sisters, Lilly Bagggett of Dallas, Opal Ward of Kemp, and Edna Jones of Athens; a brother, Wesley Marcrum of Kemp. There are also seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
