Former Blenker Man Is Killed in Oregon Accident Marshfield—The body of Edward Ashbeck, 25, former Blenker resi- dent, who was killed Sunday morn- ing in an accident at Echo, Ore., is expected to arrive in Marshfield Saturday. The body will lie at the Rembs Funeral home Saturday and then will be taken to the home of the young man's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ashbeck, Route 2, Milladore, until the time of funeral services which are tentatively scheduled for Monday morning at St. Kalian's Ca- tholic church at Blenker. The Rev. Leonard Stieber will officiate, with burial in the parish cemetery. The accident victim, who was dis- charged from service in December, 1945, had been employed in Oregon for the past year.
