Annie Shoemaker Chapman (1890 ~ October 30, 1929) 1890 - 30 October 1929 *** Mrs. Annie Chapman Dies. Galena, Kan., Oct. 30. — The body of Mrs. Annie Chapman , who died this morning at the state hospital in Osawatomie, was brought here tonight by the Clark Undertaking Company. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Mrs. Chapman was a long time resident of Galena. She had been at the hospital for about twelve years. She is survived by a daughter, Ruth Chapman; her mother, Mrs. Mary V. Shoemaker of Galena Heights; three brothers, William Shoemaker and Jess Shoemaker of Galena and John L. Shoemaker of Little, Okla., and her father, also of Little, Okla. Joplin Globe, Thursday, October 31, 1929; Pg. 5. 5 of 16. *** Father's name is missing. ~*~ Chapman Funeral Held. Galena, Kan., Nov. 1. — Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Chapman , 39 years old, who died Wednesday at the state hospital in Osawatomie, were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Clark funeral chapel here with the Rev. John Booe officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery.
