Bio
Ronald Wayne Stewart, 48, died March 10, 2008, at the Hutchinson Municipal Airport. He was born May 8, 1959, in Atchison, the son of Wayne K. and "Jo" Joyce Bewley Stewart. He was a graduate of Westside High School, Jonesboro, Ark. A resident of Inman for 12 years, he was vice-president of construction for Borton LC. He was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose #982 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2550. On Aug. 10, 1985, he married Deborah Kay Chavez-Owens in Checotah, Okla. She survives. Other survivors include: two sons, Anthony Wayne, Hutchinson, and Randy Dale, of the home; two daughters, Cherree Beth-Alice Stewart, Hutchinson, and Melissa Lynn Bare and husband, Jeff, Inman; his parents, Wayne and Jo Stewart, Buhler; three brothers, Charles, Abilene, Texas, Christopher, Lawrence, and Patrick, Hutchinson; a sister, Della Buchanan, Hutchinson; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Hutchinson, with Father Joseph Eckberg presiding. Graveside service will be at 4:00 p.m. Monday in South Round Springs Cemetery, Hunter, with Father Joseph Kieffer presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. The family will greet friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Memorials may be sent to the Ronald Wayne Stewart Memorial Fund in care of the mortuary.
