OH--Youngstown Vindicator...20 Mar 1973 BELLE R SHORTHOUSE--87: Youngstown; died of a heart ailment Monday afternoon [3-19] in Little Forest Medical Cntr where she had been a patient since January. MrsShorthouse was born 17 Mar 1886 in Williamsfield, dau of Ezra & Mary Underwood Tidd & came to Youngstwn 40 yrs ago. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church & its Dorcas Society & was a pastry cook in many area restaurants for a number of years. Her husband ArthurE, to whom she was married in 1911 died in 1927. She leaves 2 daus: Gertrude Fanaza & Myrtle Fleischer-Lowellville; 2 sons: AlbertE-Lowellville & ArthurB-Boardman; 12 grandchildren & 14 gr grandchildren. Service will be held Wednesday afternoon [3-21] at Weller Funeral Home. {Interment in Belmont Park Cem}
