OH--Warren Tribune Chronicle...14 Jun 1965 MABEL G THURBER-MrsWatson:formerly of Warren & Williamsfield-now of Porterville CA; 81, died early Monday morning at her home following a 9 year illness. Born 20 Jan 1884 in WayneTwp, she was a dau of Ezra & Mary Underwood Tidd. Her first husband-Ralph W Thompson died in 1908. On 7 Jun 1916, she married Watson Thurber, who died in 1945. She had taught school in Williamsfield from 1909 to 1916. A California resident fro 2 years, she was a member of the Seventh Day advestist Church of Warren & an honorary member of the Williamsfield Study Club. Survivors include 2 daus: MrsPauline (Nelson) Leonard-Williamsfield & Miss Sarabel Thompson-Porterville; a step-dau MrsGladys Putzbaugh-Hialeah FL; 3 sons: RalphW Thompson-Porterville; DrClaudeM Thurber-Windsor MO; DavidA Thurber-Adamsville PA; 13 grandchildren & 8 gr grandchildren. Services will be held Friday afternoon at the Baumgardner Funeral Home-Kinsman. Burial will be in Kinsman Cem.
