Many family members believe that Jacob was born in Knox, Bell, & Whitley Co., Ky. I am not sure which county he was born in. It could have been any one of them. Jacob married Sarah Amelia Reynolds on 16 April 1863 in Knox County, Kentucky. Together they had 7 children that I know of. Nancy Minerva Partin Chumley Henry R Partin Alvis Partin Columbus Partin Jacob married Mattie Frances Carter on 9 Feb 1893, in Campbell County, Tennessee. Together they had 5 children that I know of.
