Son of Jacob Partin {b.march 1837-1909} and Sarah Amelia Reynolds {b.1840-d.1880}{Lds recrords} Columbus Partin was a Deputy Sherriff killed in Line of Duty whose career as a lawman lasted six hours! {He was killed by moonshiners while raiding a liquer still}
