Parents: Father: Samuel Applegate (Missouri) Mother: Effie Meadows (Missouri) Spouse: Frank Blecha Marriage: 1943 Nampa, Idaho Alice Blecha Alice L. Blecha, 82, passed away on June 3, 2008, in Nampa. Alice was born Nov. 15, 1925, in Parma and later moved with her parents, Samuel and Effie Applegate, and family to Nampa. Alice attended Nampa High School until her marriage to Frank Blecha in 1943. For 63 years, they made their home in the Lone Star community west of Nampa where they farmed, worked at the Amalgamated Sugar Factory and raised four children. Alice loved her flowers and garden, and her family and friends. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, five siblings (Elma, Cy, Merle, Billy and Bobby), infant grandson Skylar, son-in-law Bill Enochson, and her husband Frank. She is survived by her sister Mary Campbell of Caldwell, her brother Ray Applegate of Phoenix, Ariz., and her four children: Patty O'Donnell and her husband Jim of Twin Falls; Frank and his wife Bobbie of Manhattan, Kan.; Bonnie Arbuckle and her husband Tim of Caldwell; Gary and his wife Eva of Nampa; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
