Mrs. Betty Lou Parker, age 78 of Joyce, Louisiana passed away Friday, April 20, 2012. Born February 26, 1934 in Baskin, Louisiana, she was a member of Old Union Baptist Church. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her parents, Will & Ruby (Harper) Rippy; husband, Jessie "Nubin" Parker; daughter, Louise Hayes; two sons, Claude Hayes and Dean Hayes; two sisters, Mavis Norman & Willa Mae Burrows; brother, Earl Garner. Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Boyett and husband Ronnie of Olla, LA: two sons, Dale Hayes of Olla and Roger Hayes and wife Helen of Winnfield; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Alice Loftin of Canadian, TX. Friends may visit with the family in the Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield on Sunday, April 22nd from 5-8PM and on Monday from 10:00AM until time of services. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, April 23, 2012 in the Southern Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Rayford Higgs officiating. Interment will follow in the Sikes Cemetery of Sikes, LA. Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Lofton, Ryan Hayes, Chris Hayes, Brannon Hayes, Brian Roshto, Kenny St. Andrie, Stevie Proffer and Geoff Wood. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Lofton, Shannon Hayes and Zach Hayes. Children: Claude Edward Hayes (1951 - 2003) Doyce Dean Hayes (1960 - 2004) Betty Louise Hayes (1962 - 1963)
