Bio

Services for Ruby Mae Rippy, 90, of West Monroe will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Southern with the Rev. Charles Clary officiating. Burial will be in Sikes Cemetery. Mrs. Rippy died Saturday, January 7, 1984 in St. Francis Medical Center, Monroe. She was a native of Winn Parish and a member of Sikes Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Monroe Rippy of Tampa, Florida; three daughters, Willie Mae Burris of Monroe, Alice Loftin of Canadian, Texas, and Betty Womack of Winnfield; two brothers, Jeston Harper and Daniel Harper, both of Monroe; two sisters, Angie Jones of Delhi and Mrs. Clyde Barnes of Clinton; 12 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 22 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Gerald Jones, Wendall Jones, Danny Ward, Terry Booth, Billy Harper, Thomas Brown. Published in The Winn Parish Enterprise News-American, January 11, 1984
