Bio
Married Frank Kosinski in 1933 at Primrose, Nebraska. He died March 27, 1993. Sons Ed, Richard and Donald and daughters Leona, Virginia and Barbara. Dorothy attended school in Greeley County, Nebraska. Dorothy and Frank farmed in Greeley and Nance counties, moving to Grand Island in 1954. She was employed as a baker for the Nebraska Veterans Home in Grand Island, retiring in 1984. She also worked at Pacific Tool, the Ordinance Plant and St. Francis Hospital. She enjoyed gardening and raising flowers but her favorite pastime was baking. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral, the Altar Society and the Catholic daughters. Survivors are sons, Ed and Richard, daughters, Leona (Mrs. John) Miller and Virginia Boswell and Barbara (Mrs. Larry) Bosak; three brothers, Frank and Alfred, both of Grand Island and Bob of LaVista; three sisters, Sally (Mrs. Bill) Meister of Grand Island, Betty Alsup of Berlin, Wisc. and Edna (Mrs. Art) Scrape of Lakewood, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, one son, Donald and on brother, John.
