In Memoriam FELIX GARFIELD MOORE June 7, 1906 ~ September 18, 1937 FUNERAL HELD AT GLOVER FOR FELIX MOORE Funeral services were to be held at 3:00 o'clock this afternoon at the Glover church for Felix Garfield Moore, 29, formerly of Oak Hill, who died Saturday in a hospital at Santa Rita, New Mexico.Rev. Euell Wright was to officiate and Coffey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Glover cemetery. Pallbearers were: Clarence Land, Rustin Rhoden, Oak Hill; Fred and Hiram Newton, Broken Bow; Jay W. Slater, Oak Hill, and Henry Qualls, Idabel. Special music was rendered by the Oak Hill singing class. Deceased is survived by his mother, Mrs. Isabell Moore, Oak Hill; seven brothers, Wesley, Matt, Ebb, Lester, Luther and Oscar Moore, all of Oak Hill, and Silas Moore, Golden; three sisters, Mrs. Janie Tucker, Blufton, Arkansas, Mrs. Ella Danley, Caddo Gap, Arkansas, and Mrs. Georgia Matney, Little Rock, Arkansas. Moore had been employed in New Mexico for the past three years. At the time of his death he was employed by a copper firm in Hurtey, New Mexico, where he had worked for three years. McCurtain Gazette September, 22, 1937 ******************************** OAK HILL MAN DIED IN NEW MEXICO Felix Moore, 31, died at Santa Rita, New Mexico, Satyrday, September 18, after an illness of a few days. The body was brought back to Oak Hill and the funeral services were conducted at the Glover church. Burial was made in Glover cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. M. I. Moore of Oak Hill; seven brothers, C. W., J. M., E. J. J. L., S. M., L. L., and Oscar Moore of Golden and Oak Hill; three sisters, Mrs. Jamie Tucker, Bluffton, Ark.; Ella Danley, Caddo Gap, Ark.; and Georgia Malney, Mt. View, Ark. All attended the funeral services except Mrs. Danley and Mrs. Malney. Pallbearers were Henry Qualls, Walter Slater, Hirum Newtor, Fred Newton, Clarence Lane and Rushibg Rhoden.
