Bio

A son of John and Sarah Smith. His wife Mary (Himes/Hymes) Brallier Smith preceded him in death on Oct. 10, 1946. He was survived by two daughters, Daisy Miller of Tunkhannock, and Minnie Clark of Baltimore, MD. He was also survived by these step-children: Wilbur [Wilmer] Brallier, Mrs. Chester Troutman and Mrs. Cloyd Zimmerman, all of Riddlesburg; Mrs. George Baughman of Jennerstown; Mrs. Edgar Lynn of Scottdale, and Mrs. Ira Putt of East Freedom. Four sisters also survived him: Mrs. Julianna Shaffer of Breezewood, Mrs. Elmer Sollers of Artemas, Mrs. Alcinda Bennett and Mrs. Elizabeth Bennett, both of Baltimore. Services were held in the Robert E. Huff funeral chapel, Saxton, with Rev. Edward Hayes officiating. Interment in the Hopewell Cemetery.
