Thanks to contributor #47466150 Died age 2 months. Son of Francisci Czapla and Maria Brygg. Johannes Czapla is listed in the church burial records at St. Stanislaus Church, Duncan, Nebraska. Burial is recorded as 2 February 1884 "in the cemetery near M. Borowiak". P. Anastasius Czech O.S.Fr. recorded the burial. [From St. Stanislaus Church anniversary book, 1882-1982, p 120: The cemetery near Lassek was located several miles east of Duncan on the ridge east of the home of Dennis Dush. The cemetery near M. Borowiak was located on the farm of Leonard Stachura...Eventually most of those buried in these two cemeteries were transferred to the parish cemetery...The first recorded burial in the parish cemetery was on Feb. 3, 1888...
