Danny Wayne Mayo Feb 9, 1953 - Oct 23, 2010 Danny W. Mayo, age 57, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010 at his residence in Rice, Texas. He was born February 9, 1953 in Corsicana, Texas to Roy and Mary Mayo. Mr. Mayo was a lifelong resident of Navarro County. He grew up playing little league baseball in Corsicana and participated in rodeo events in the late 1960's and early 1970's. He was preceded in death by his parents, and paternal and maternal grandparents. He was survived by two brothers, Tim Mayo and wife Betty of Casper, Wyoming, and Larry Mayo of Corsicana; two uncles, Donald Wilson and Ron Beck, both of Dallas, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery in Retreat, Texas with Pastor Jerry Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery. Notes:
