Corsicana Daily Sun Roy Abe Mayo Jr., age 84, of Corsicana passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at his home in Corsicana. Mr. Mayo was born on May 5, 1924, in Kerens. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery with Brother Bill Honea officiating. Mr. Mayo served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a retired carpenter. Mr. Mayo is survived by three sons, Larry Mayo of Corsicana, Tim Mayo and wife Betty of Casper, Wyo., and Don Mayo of Rice; sister, Lora Ruth Beasley of Mansfield; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Don G.
