Gilbert Arthur Marsh "Poppa" Gilbert Arthur Marsh passed away 1 October 2007. Born 27 Feb. 1934 in Superior, Wyoming, to John Thomas Marsh and Sarah Jane Oakey. Gilbert was the ninth of 11 children. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; two sisters; and seven brothers. He is survived by brother, Karl (Marilyn) Marsh; sister, Beth Evans; and many nieces and nephews. Charles and Eva Marsh have been his special nephew and niece and have taken care of him during his illness. He attended grade school in Evanston, Wyoming, and High School in Coalville, Utah. He served in the U.S. Navy, and has been a small business owner. Memorial services will be Friday, 5 Oct. 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, where friends and family are invited to attend a viewing from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, 4 Oct. 2007 and from 10-10:45 a.m. Friday.
