Funeral to be Held Today for Wyona Barney Wyona Barney, five-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Angus Barney died suddenly at the family home here early Tuesday evening. The baby's mother had left her in the baby carriage under the trees near the kitchen, where she was busy setting the table for supper. When the mother went to the carriage a few minutes later the baby had smothered, and although the mother and neighbors tried to revive her while they awaited the arrival of a physician who was summon immediately all efforts were in vain. The tragic accident occurred when the baby's little four-year-old brother who was tossing dirt with his little shovel unknowingly let some fall into the carriage. Wyona was born here last April 6. She is survived by her parents; three sisters, Madeline, Donetta and Yvonne, and one brother, Verlin. Funeral services will be held today at 1 p. m. Published in the Richfield Reaper 1934-09-20
