Obit-Gonzales Inquirer June 12, 1901 Dilworth, June 6, 1901 The many friends of Mr. Gilchrist sympathize deeply with him in his recent bereavement. First a ten year old daughter died. Scare had the sod fallen on her coffin, when Mr. Wiliams, father of Mrs. Gilchrist crossed to the unseen shore and then the shadow of death lingered in the home, deepening and darkening the gloom, until at last the boatman pale came and summoned the mother and daughter to meet the father and child.
