Obituary ~ Deseret News, Salt Lake City, SL, Utah, Thursday, November 2, 1939, Page 12 Mr. Orrock Dies In S.L. ~ John W. Orrock, superintendent of the Utah Power and Light Company plant at Midvale since 1910, died at St. Mark's Hospital at 1:30 a.m. today of heart ailment. He had been ill since May. Mrs. Orrock died three weeks ago. She was the former Ardina Leslie and married Mr. Orrock in 1914 (was Dec. 21, 1892). Mr. Orrock was born April 10, 1871, at Santaquin, a son of William C. B. Orrock and Mary Ann Ogden Orrock. The family moved to Richfield a year later. Mr. Orrock moved to Midvale in 1910. His first wife, Annie Morrison Orrock, died in 1903. Surviving sons and daughters from this marriage are: John Cyril Orrock and Mrs. Vina Colman of Pioche, Nev.; Mrs. Beatrice Wagner, Ogden, and Mrs. Annie Malin, Masin City, Wash. Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: William T. and Joseph Orrock, and Mrs. Charlton Seegmiller, Mrs. Charles Wilson, Mrs. Irene Curtis and Mrs. Alta Anderson, all of Richfield; Mrs. H.A. Christensen of Beaver, J.E. Orrock of Ely, Nev., and Mrs. Pearl Voorhies, Manti, and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services tentatively have been arranged for Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Richfield First Ward Chapel. Friends may call at 125 North Main Street."
