Long), and Vallie V. Payne Enloe (Mrs. Van Porter Enloe, Sr. of Georgia). Children are: Tinie Tina Evelyn Payne 1870–1956 Mary Lee Payne 1872–1900 Lillie Adelia Payne 1873–1967 Vallie V. Payne 1876–1917 Moody Hixon Payne 1877–1965 James Ira Payne 1883–1972 (Twin) William Neighbors Payne 1883-1969 (Twin) — Note that Vallie V. Payne Enloe is the mother of all Van Porter Enloe, Sr.'s children. — Van Porter Enloe, Sr. had a second wife, Maria Shepherd "Mamie" Benson Enloe. Mamie was the daughter of Thomas Brewer Benson and Hattie Eliza Freeman Benson. Mamie had one sister, Lula May Benson Parker (Mrs. Nelson Huntley Parker, Sr. of Atlanta). Mamie's obituary names the children of Vallie and Van Porter Enloe, and they are the Enloe grandchildren of Mr. and Mrs. William Miller Payne.
