Funeral services are tentatively set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthonys Church. -------------- The Columbus Telegram, November 24, 1978 STACHURA – Stefania (Stacia) Stachura, 2522 6th Street, Columbus, passed away Wednesday at the Columbus Manor following a short illness. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthonys Catholic Church with Rev. Bruce Savage officiating, burial in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. She now lies in state at the McKown Funeral Home where Rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. tonight. She was born July 24, 1894 in Poland to Peter and Cunigunda (Cwanek) Boro. She was married to John Stachura January 31, 1917 at St. Anthonys Church in Columbus. She came to America in 1901 and has lived all this time in Platte County except for six years that she lived in Valley County. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She is survived by daughters, Mrs. L.H. (Frances) Titman, Bangar, Mich., Mrs. Walter (Mary) Wruble, Columbus, Mrs. Bill (Martha) Allee, Cayuga, Ind., Florence Brown, Sioux City, Iowa, Mrs. K.M. (Rose Ann) Johnson, Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Cecelia Zulkoski, Elyria, Neb.; 23 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, a son, Edmund, 1951; two brothers, Joseph and John Boro; a sister Kate Padlo; a great-granddaughter, Gwendolyn Davis.
