Bio

Sarah Alice Taylor, 92, of Moss Point died Thursday, Dec. 21, 1995, in Pascagoula. Mrs. Taylor was born Nov. 22, 1903, in Jones County. She was a retired inspector with International Paper Co., and a member of East Moss Point Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvell Taylor; two daughters, Laurie Mae Coleman and Elizabeth June Nelson, and a stepson, Leonard Taylor. Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Glen Morris of Escatawpa; a stepdaughter; two stepson; three sisters, Carolyn Bertus of Harvest, Ala., Lonie Morgan of Seminary, Ruth William of Springhill, La., Ella Mae Juneau of Sarpeta; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Holder-Wells Funeral home in Moss Point. A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Serene Memorial Gardens.
