Obituary for Ruth O. Williams Ruth O. Williams Sarepta, LA Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth O. Williams, age 96, will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 3, 2017, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, LA, with Bro. Jake Vandenberg officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery, Springhill, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Williams was born on January 16, 1921 to Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Crosby Carter in Seminary, MS and passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 in Sarepta, LA. Mrs. Williams has been a resident of this area for 56 years, was a member of Blockers Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and sister. She is survived by her three sons, Larry W. Williams and wife, Ludy of Dubberly, LA; James T. Williams of Minden, LA; Robert B. Williams and wife, Debbie of Shongaloo, LA; seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and twenty-five great-great grandchildren Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Roddy M. Williams; her parents; five sisters, eleven brothers and three grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Cody Hinton, Casey Hinton, Conner Williams, Colby Williams, Luke Williams, Levi Williams, and Ryan Williams.
