Ona Lee Prescott was the daughter of "Genie" and Alcie Phillips. Wife of Emmett "Flop" Prescott, and mother to Phillip and Phyllis. She worked all her life as a school teacher, teaching in various Hardeman Cty. communities such as Kings Hy, Medicine Mound, and Quanah. While a young woman she coached girls basketball. Described as a woman "ahead of her time" she valued literacy and education and women's rights.
