Bio

A graveside service for Jerry Ruzicka, 77, of Lubbock is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2012, in City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Agape Funeral Chapel with Father Jerry officiating. Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in City of Lubbock Cemetery. Jerry was born Sept. 9, 1934, to L.M. and Frances (Marek) Ruzicka. He married Beatrice Darland Aug. 19, 1957, while serving in the United States Army. After being discharged, Jerry was a cotton ginner for many years with County Line Gin, Morton, Texas. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Mark Ruzicka. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Beatrice; three sons, Paul, Thomas and John, all of Lubbock; three grandsons; and five granddaughters.
