Orville D. Bitner was born to Albert C. Bitner and Sarah M. Bussey on June 6, 1916 in Richfield (Morton Co.)Ks. He was married to Evalina G.Morris and had two daughters Carole Bitner Bryant of Wichita, Ks, and Phylis Bitner Clair of Hugoton, Ks. Later Mrs. Bitner passed away do to complications with childbirth. On May 4, 1950 in Raton NM., he married Evelyn Marie Hetrick. From her first marriage Mrs Bitner had Barbara Bitner Myers of Rolla, Ks. They had six children; Van M. Bitner born 1950, Alan L. Bitner born 1952, Virjana K. Larson born 1954, Rebecca J Romes born 1956, Cynthia R Medina born 1958, and Lawerence D Bitner born 1959. His brothers were: Elmer R Bitner, Born 5-20-1904, died 2-20-1988. Roy L Bitner, Born 5-29-1906, Died 7-18-1978. His Sisters: Marion Opal Pullins, Born UNKNOWN, Died 1962, Ruby M Brady: Born 7-11-1929, Died 9-17-1973. Anna P Kippes, Born 1-17-1909, Died 9-23-1998. He was a loving husband and Father; He especially loved his grandchildren and his Great grandchildren! He will always be Missed!
