Keturah Melvina Bounds (Called "Tura" on the marker) was the second wife of Joseph Thurman Hurst.They married in Collin County in 1903. Besides Collin county, they lived in Oklahoma, Live Oak county, and Brown county. They had 4 children: Phillip Caroll Hurst (1904-1978), Mary Etta Hurst Samford (1905-1997), John E. Hurst (1905-?), Joseph Lee Hurst (1914-1955)
