Bio
Allen will be remembered as a gruff but gentle and witty uncle and will be missed by all whose lives he touched. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. Allen married Helen Kominczak who preceded him in death after 57 years of marriage. Allen retired from the Carnation Milk Co. as the national Sales Rep.; he was also involved in several other enterprises. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church where he ushered for some 30 years and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 12385 as well as SPJST Lodge No. 88. Allen is also preceded in death by his parents, Edmond and Viola Stavinoha; and one brother, Sidney. He is survived by his brother, Edmond Stavinoha, Jr.; step-mother, Betty Stavinoha; and several half brothers and sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their appreciation to his special friends, Pat and John Dworak and John Veselka for the many hours they spent with him taking him places.
